Welcome!
We are a family, homesteading on some land that we bought in 2013, located near the little tiny town of Pilot Mountain in the foothills of North Carolina. We have a wide range of animals as well as an extensive garden and heirloom apple orchard. Brad (or Dad) keeps the bees and maintains fence lines. Jane oversees garden work and chicken operations as well as helps Suzanne with the hogs and with maintaining our online presence. Suzanne manages our small herd of dairy goats. James and John weed the garden and feed chickens. Caroline and Mary pretend to help, make excuses, and generally cause trouble. Lanette, known to most of us as Mom, is left to take care of them.
