Hogs
We currently have two pigs to butcher. One is a Yorkshire/Duroc mix and the other is a Hampshire/Duroc. These are our first pigs and if all goes well we will consider getting a breeding pair next year.
Fun fact: Our hogs are trained attack piggies. They have been known to chase stray dogs off the property.
Update: THESE PIGS ARE AWFUL. THEY DO NOT STAY IN THEIR FENCE. I AM CALLING THE BUTCHER TO ARRANGE THEIR LUCKY DAY RIGHT NOW!!!!! FREEZER CAMP HERE WE COME!
Update: The pigs are no more. Just kidding, they're in the freezer.
